I have a happiness hangover. Three days of celebration has left me exhausted and rung out. After a good nights sleep and I'll be ready for the trials to begin.
ReplyDeleteIt is a happy feeling. But it's also an overwhelming feeling. I don't think I've felt so optimistic since Kennedy took office.
ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone here!!!! What a great couple of days this has been.
ReplyDeleteWas it just me or did anyone else see Dan Quayle at the inauguration? I swear I saw him and his wife on television walk onto the platform. Talk about a blast from the past and a huge question that if we could rewind the last eight to twelve years and put Danny into the White House would he have been as bad a president as W?
ReplyDeleteI know I really need to stop thinking about such things and get a life.
I'm still trying to pull myself together.......
ReplyDeleteBeach, when Quayle was VP, my dad said, "Bush picked Quayle as VP because he's not too bright and reminds Bush Sr. of his son." My dad always comes up with this nuggets of political wisdom.
ReplyDeleteI didn't understand what he meant at the time. That's an interesting "What if" question.
