Take the Pledge
Click on this and send a message:
I will not vote for or support any candidate for Congress or President who does not make a speedy end to the war in Iraq, and preventing any future war of aggression, a public position in his or her campaign.
And then circulate the pledge to 10 friends.

Cited by Livy, cited by Machiavelli, cited by Ed Kent:
A war is just if there is no alternative, and the resort to arms is legitimate if they represent your last hope.

  1. Thanks to SwiftSpeech for drawing my attention to this!

Now, if you will excuse me while I go off and sign the pledge and circulate it...

  2. Thank you for posting and signing this petion, vigilante. As mentioned, there are two bills on the Senate floor right now to get our troops redeployed our of Iraq.

Grassroots activism is a critical step to getting the attention of our Senators and Congressional Representatives. In many ways, local elections are far more important than presidential elections. Progressives and liberals must not only to vote, but get other progressives to register and vote in the 2006 election.

A change in the majority may begin legislation to bring our troops home faster (amopng other issues). To change the balance of power, the Democrats need at least 31 seats to become the clear House majority party. The Senate has 55 Republicans, 44 Democrats, and 1 Independent.

Thank you for letting me rant... again! ;-)
