A Christmas Story

This actually happened a year ago, but I'm a year late hearing about it.Here's the real story, if you're not in to You Tubes. It's a feel good story! We need those every chance we get.

During these holiday days, I trust that my friends will be safe, warm, well-fed, and loved even as we all remember the untold numbers who are not.

  1. I'll take a little basic humanity anyway I can get it. Thanks for the story.

  2. Vigilante: I'm with Beach Bum: I'll take a little basic humanity where I can get it as well. But I haven't celebrated Christmas for a long time. I wish the people well who do it, but I have a hard dealing with Christmas as supposedly a time of giving and the commercialization of Christmas, where people buy a lot of gadgets--grownup toys-- and unnecessary things for themselves, like humongus tv screens and telephones that do everything but have sex with you.

  3. MacDaddy said it perfectly. The biggest example for me in all this utter stupidity and greed was the story that some Wal-Mart worker was trampled to death as the doors to the store were opened. All because the mob wanted to be the first to by more cheaply made Chinese crap. All hail the Global economy.
