  1. You don't mind if I repost that, right?

  3. Another war fought because of another scam. What do we call this? Bay of Aïta Al-Chaab?

  4. I can't find any independent confirmation from sources other than those cited above. An Israeli source would be extremely helpful....

Whatreallyhappened is a site that specializes in conspiracy theories.

  5. Even Ran HaCohen of AntiWar.com is dissing this alternative account: Kidnapped in Lebanon? I think not.

  6. Convincing, Messenger.

It's bothersome is that I can't find additional sources for this alternative history. If this story doesn't have legs, it will become just another conspiracy theory among a vast host of conspiracy theories.

The first casualty in any war is the truth. All I was doing was looking for any overlooked cadavers. This question was worth checking out.

  7. Confirmed or not, conspiracy theory or not, this is interesting reading. It's always worth checking out competing versions of the truth, especially since the mainstream version is usually tainted, if not outright manipulated.

Nice to meet you, Vigilante! Great site!

  8. This cuts the legs from under another phony "pre text" for war. Coupled with credible stories that Bush is now urging Israel to attack Syria, it's hard NOT to conclude that the Bush administration is trying to start WWIII.

  9. Its true. Since 2000, Hizbullah violated the Blue Line on the Israeli-Lebanese border 100 times, while Israeli violated that line 11,782 times(according to the UN)

  10. Is that 11,782 times? That figure is too exact to be true. I have to wonder who sits along the entire border with a counter.

I don't believe the conspiracy theory because I can't confirm it in the mainstream. If it were true it would eclipse all other news. Like Vigilante says this story "doesn't have legs". I believe this to be yet another conspiracy among thousands of other conspiracies.

  11. Too exact to be true? So madmike, is that how you analyze data? I have to say thats rather pathetic and cavalier of you. These are UN figures not something cooked up by crop circle chasers or conspiracy theorists. Anybody who believes that Israel is doing this for 2 soldiers is either ignorant or a pro-zionist propagandist.

  12. Let's not be too hasty, as I live in a country that bizarrely doesn't seem to want to end the violence, I don't trust anything to be the truth unless it comes from a totally independent and unbiased source (do they exist?).
I know its cynical, but both accounts are conspiracy theories depending from which side you examine.

However, I think that the truth will come out one day.
