Hands-On Diplomacy?

Our leader maintains his hands-off diplomacy as Lebanon burns.
Instead, our playful C.I.C. is busying himself with fun and games, spreading joy at the G8 Summit conference. Making us proud.

  1. Maybe I just imagined it but she did not like she enjoyed or wanted Junior's attention.

  2. Meant to write that it did not look like she enjoyed or wanted Junior's attention.

  4. What would you have given for a similar batch of photos of Bush massaging Tony Blair, his poodle?

  6. She was polite: I would have turned around and punched him. She was obviously creeped out. How disrespectful to act that way to a world leader. What a sexist pig. Add that to the rest of his disgraceful behavior. (Thanks for letting me rant...)

  7. Sorry to barge in like this, but I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for Stella's comment.

Well, here's hoping that one dark night somewhere, preferably in a back alley, Stella and Dubya will bump into each other. Pure blood and gore...and he was man in his prime. :)

  8. Pekka, you can come in here and flirt with Stella just so long as you keep your hands off her neck.

  9. Yes, beachbum, a Prime Minister should not be fondled. No wonder Merkel was obviously angered. Bush's actions were completely disrespectful and unwelcome. Then, again, consider the source...

Good comment, drmaxtor: "what a disgrace"; the same used by the Prevaricator-in-Chief against the New York Times and L.A. Times for outing his wiretapping lies. Yeah, right, "national security."

Great idea, Pekka. Tempting, very tempting. Guess I need Kung Fu, Karate, or Krav Maga. Hi vigilante!

  10. Yes, Vigil, you dirty old man, the goddess should be worshiped from the distance, not touched.

  11. Finally saw the video to this the other day. She really was very creeped out by Junior touching her.

  12. She was in a perfect spot to punch him in a perfect place so as to make him double over (last picture).

Goddess? Well thanks: I always considered myself a political and social Hellraiser.

Have a great day, my cyberspace friends.

  13. As a retired cop turned teacher I have looked at this picture, no, stared at this picture for the last ten minutes. I cannot say, without equivocation, that Ms. Merkel was upset by the fondling of a fool. I can say, however, that Dubyah seemed to enjoy it. The again what can you expect of a president whose greatest accomplishment, at least in his mind's eye, is catching a 7.5 pound perch.
