Democratic Party Unity at Last

Bill and Barack will serve as the bookends for the worst eight-year disaster in American History.

I am confident that next Tuesday, the American people will re-take and pass the history exam they have flunked twice before in this short century. Good on them . . .
But why did it have to take what it took?

  1. Predict the membership of the next cabinet!

Speed Bump's 2nd Pundit-of-the-Month contest is open until the day after the election of Number 44. Time is already running out!

  2. We're all human beings. Bill Clinton thought that Obama's campaign twisted some of his comments and said some negative things about his wife that were unfair. But even he now admits that Obama himself never said those things; and that has made it easier for him to come to Obama's side now. We're all human beings.

Bill Clinton was at his best in this video. This was a great speech on behalf of Obama. It took a while, but it's glad to see him showing this support. Hillary Clinton has been there for a while. She's done more than 55 speeches for him. But this speech shows that Bill is there now.

  3. It was one hell of a night for the Obama Campaign. Also loved his interview with Rachel Maddow tonight. And McCain can't find JTP who was supposed to appear and didn't. Awkward.

  4. Clintons getting firmly on the Obama train means they think he is going to win, otherwise they would be distancing themselves for best advantage...sorry, perhaps cynical, but there you have it.

  5. I'm looking forward to the Obama Presidency with a mixture of hope and a tinge of fear. I'm hoping he will do the things he promised and I hope he will unite the country (as well as the party).

A key factor will be his approach to the Presidency. Do you think he will roll-back even one inch on the Imperial Prersidency Bush created?

Do you see him diminishing his power? Do you think he will reinstate habias corpus? Do you think he will roll-back or stop the wire-taps? Will he use the powers of the office against his enemies?

    On with the Festivities.

Dear Lord I hope so. But never underestimate the ability of the American people to make fools of themselves.

  9. Given enough time, Bill Clinton will proudly explain how he launched Barack Obama's political career.

(Btw thanks for following my stuff. I'll return the favor.)
