Free-Thinking Republicans

Who does Bush fear the most?

On Redeemable Republican Friday it's appropriate to celebrate those of the GOP whom the war-mongers fear think for themselves.

Here are half a dozen or so...

I would also encourage my reader(s) to contact all of the Representatives below. These are some of the Republican Representatives who have spoken against the troop surge, and in favor of ending the occupation of Iraq.

Call them; fax them; email them, and congratulate them in their discovery that patriotism means preference of country over party and national interest over the personal legacy of an undeserving president.

And finally, as a special tribute to a real Republican patriot,
Ron Paul wishes all of us to count down to November 5th:

  1. I'm glad you didn't feature
Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.). He's flippin' but he's only fakin'.

  2. There are few fake Republican flippers more prominent than Chris Shays of Connecticut:

Shays's vigorous defense of the administration in odd-numbered years is emblematic of the solid Republican support Bush has relied on to thwart the efforts of Democrats to limit the war.

  3. Virgil, the only good GOP is a retired GOP. If then. Un-retired, they don't merit no benefit of the doubt.

  4. I note that there is not a single Republican Senator listed here...

  5. I have reviewed a few of their voting records at Project Vote Smart and I have nothing good to say.

  6. Vigilante, this Friday feature of yours has won a lower approval rating than Cheney.
