Stop me before I say a single word....

... about last night's Democratic Debate in Philadelphia or about the Annual Radio and TV Correspondents Dinner in Washington.
If I can't keep it positive or clean, I won't say a thing.
I had no time for gothic chics riding broomsticks, or pricks laughing at dicks. There was a GR8 ball game to watch!

Rafael Furcal goes 4-for-4 with HR as Dodgers beat Pirates

LOS ANGELES -- It wasn't until Day 15 of the regular season but manager Joe Torre was finally treated to the lineup he envisioned this spring.

A combination of injuries and slumps has contributed to an offense that struggled to score consistently but Wednesday the Dodgers used a 15-hit attack to record double-digits in hits for the fifth time in their last six games.

Paced by a 4-for-4 night from Rafael Furcal and buoyed by the return of Nomar Garciaparra from the disabled list, the Dodgers put four runs on the board in the first inning and eased past the Pirates, 8-1, to take the series.
What a night!

  1. It's been said before, I know. But with McCain having clinched the Republican nomination, and Obama having clinched the Democratic nomination (with all but a concession speech by HRC), Barack would have had grounds for insisting on no further debates with Hillary unless John sat in. This endless series of Dem-on-Dem debates amounts to a circular firing squad.

  2. What Soro' said. Could kissing Soro's ass like this get me an invitation to read his site?

  3. Looking at the side by side pictures of screeching Hill and the mighty dick I now know the parents of the Antichrist.

  4. A very good rendition of the puke-scum that passes for news journalists these days, and the kind that "moderates" presidential debates, can be found in Edgar Newt's end notes.

  5. LOL Beach! She is a screecher but I doubt the Dick is mighty. If it were he wouldn't be such an avid hunter.

As to HillDog conceding soros I don't see it happening. They will have to crook her ass right off the stage at the convention. She will not quit until the very last fat lady sings, and even then she will be singing background.

  6. In An Open Letter to Charlie Gibson and George Stephanapoulos from Will Bunch of the The Philadelphia Daily News: Bunch said that, prior to the debate, George Stephanapoulos,

appeared on the radio with conservative talk radio host Sean Hannity, and that you said you were "taking notes" when he urged you to ask a question about Obama's supposed ties to a former member of the Weather Underground - which in fact you did. With all the fabulous resources of ABC News at your disposal, is that an appropriate way for a supposed journalist to come up with debate questions, by pandering to divisive radio shows?

And Bunch finishes his open letter:

This. Must . Stop. Tonight, if possible. I thought that we had hit rock bottom in March 2003, when we failed to ask the tough questions in the run-up to the Iraq war. But this feels even lower. We need to pick ourselves up, right now, and start doing our job - to take a deep breath and remind ourselves of what voters really need to know, and how we get there, that's it's not all horserace and "gotcha." Although, to be blunt, I would also urge the major candidates in 2012 to agree only to debates that are organized by the League of Women Voters, with citizen moderators and questioners. Because we have proven without a doubt in 2008 that working journalists don't deserve to be the debate "deciders."

Charlie, I'm going to sign off this letter the way that you always sign off the news, that "I hope you had a great day."

Because America just had a horrible night.

  7. Once again, it appears that the news media control the debate. For at least 50 minutes, both Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton were quizzed on some of their silly misstatements that have already been analyzed ad nauseam. Finally, I thought, we'd get a chance to hear their views on the issues most of us care about. Wrong again -- but this time I don't think we can blame the candidates. They had to go to war with the questions they were given.

It was Obama debating not only Clinton but the two moderators as well, who unabashedly asked the same questions we've heard over and over, with Clinton pounding Obama while professing the questions came "from others."

The obvious bias of the ABC moderators was made clear, should anyone doubt it, when they raised the business of professor William Ayers, formerly of the Weather Underground. The whole thing smacked of old-fashioned Red-baiting that I thought responsible journalism had disavowed some time back.

This was not a contribution to a discussion of the issues, which the nation has been requesting. Clinton's "gotcha" piling on is being rejected by the voters. It was disgusting, not helpful and only further indicated how desperate Clinton is to win at any cost.
