The Surge in U.S. Casualties

The Price of 'Progress'
Larry Johnson, in No Quarter, writes,
Compare the current number of U.S. fatalities in Iraq with previous eight month periods for 2006 and 2005. For the first eight months of 2007 there have been 735 American troops killed and 4430 wounded. This is significantly higher than the casualty rate in 2005 or 2006. We have 1000 more dead and wounded this year than last year for the period January-August.
I wouldn't look for this chart in the final, cleansed, version the General Petreaus' report.

  1. The war should have been winding down long before now but more soldiers and civilians are dying!

  2. More blood, more money in the bank for the moronic monkey's puppeteers.

Ain't the "culture of life" something?

  3. I hope I'm wrong, I hope there is a hell with fire and brimstone and eternal damnation. These idoits, these masterminds of oil and cash gains deserve to be there.

Will the future see us as the new Nazi's? Will they see 650,000 dead Iraqi's as "genocide" or "war is just hell"? Will the U.S. troops ever forgive us for not taking care of their wounded? For putting them into this hell and refusing to get them out?

  4. It's happening right now.

Someone is dying. Or getting blown to bits.

    End this war!
