    I heard a terrific story on NPR today about the iPhone and "hacktivation". Essentially, a bunch of hackers got hold of an iPhone and have hacked the software so they can use it without at&t wireless (the exlusive wireless provider for the iPhone). One problem, of course, is that they still don't have cell service....

    Also according to NPR, it costs $85 to have Apple replace the battery - and they won't give directions on how to do it. You've got to bring it to them. I wonder if Halliburton designed their battery case.
