From the Voice of America:
President Bush has signed an order that allows the U.S. government to block the assets of any person or group that threatens the stability of Iraq. What does this clarification leave unsaid?
The order exempts the United States.
It leaves out the urgency to re-deploy to the central front against terror: Talibanistan (Afghanistan & Pakistan).
ReplyDeleteStop funding? when we just caught the top al Qaeda leader in Iraq? Again! We keep catching him!! This must be the 15th time we've caught him!!! We've certainly got his number!!!! We're on a winning streak! Why should we stop funding when we're winning?
ReplyDeleteI have decided to delete comments of those on my blog who support the war without any facts to back it up. I'm tired of giving credence to LIES.

Heard on The Ed Schultz Show this morning, offered by a caller to the show: "Should a Democrat be elected President in 2008, after being sworn in, she/he can immediately declare Bush and Cheney "Enemy Combatants" and put them in Guantanamo, with no access to attorneys, or to our Justice system (what's left of it) for a period of at least four, perhaps more, years".
